hi, i have a question about the old stx axe. It is not the c405 but these ones....

how much lighter is it compared to various scandiums. also a stx scandium vs. scandiums airs. Please throw out your opinions because I'm in need of new shaft and can't decide on which one I'd like to get. if I'm breaking any forum rules I'm apologizing in advance since I'm fairly new. thank you

its heavier, my friend had a dpole and it was heavy compared to scandium. it is strong so if u can handle weight then go for it

the old Axes are still C405. the only difference between those and the ones they sell now is graphics and grip.

they weight about the same as the scandiums. You have to compare wall thickness since the vary depending on when they are extruded during the run. You could get a very thin walled Axe and a thick walled scandium.
If you want a lighter shaft look at multiple shafts and try to find the one that has the thinnest walls.

i got it when they were still selling them, something like 3 years ago. i've had it ever since.
btw i've used about 5 different heads on that shaft and i have holes for all the different manufacturers. its friggin swiss cheese at this point
