Lax Capital of Canada

This question has probably been posted millions of times already, but what do you think is the lax capital of Canada? I've heard about New West, Peterborough, Oshawa and Orangeville. Any others?

There's a touchy subject that every lacrosse player in Canada would argue.

It would be a tough call, but my vote would be split between Six Nations or Whitby. They consistently churn out top level teams year after year at all levels, although people would argue about how Six Nations does it ;)

New West has the Hall of Fame but if you judge it on support Victoria would be the West Coast winner. With over a 1000 season ticket holders year in and year out, averaging 1400 - 1600 and over 2000 for a playoff game. Even not making the playoffs last year they still out drew everyone else out here.

Yeah Victoria has the West beat but say they have 4 more years of last year's implosion, would their support stay the same? All I know is I love watching games at the Bear, such a great atmosphere for such a small building plus it's great to play in.

it may not seem as strong anymore, but i think Peterborough is the all-time lax capital. My dad grew up there playing lax, and always tells me of all the legends that came out of there.

the borough the nations orangville whitby are the classic kings of ontario but more and more new towns are making pushes for the best minor teams with the a division getting bigger and bigger and more competitive..
