wow, you quadded up, interesting. will probably get illegal even tho composite mesh doesnt stretch much, it still does. looks good

I don't like the way did your shooters.
There is a tweaked way to do that topstring that I like to do. I could do a mini tutorial or something.

can you post pics of your topstring so i can see how its different?
I would not recommend doing over doubling, this is what caused that bunching in your mesh. It may interfere with pocket formation, and cause whip and inconsistencies.

true, but these diamonds are particularly small and so far, it hasnt bunched up.

It made the pocket form all in one place instead of continuing up to the scoop and reducing whip. If you like it that way, it's cool, but I'm not a fan of that kind of pocket. I don't like such an early release. It throws me off. It's all preference.
In your pocket, everything looks tight enough, but it might get illegal even with that composite mesh like jmk said. There's some room to tighten the sidewalls still, so I would just do that. It might help even out and tighten the channel too.

i tried a 1,1,1,4,2,1, which created a really tight channel, but i think it was almost too tight and it threw with massive whip.
