Have you all seen the new Bangerz goggles? I think they look even better than the Irisis and would have better vision and feel on your head. Plus you customize the color lenses where on the Cascade you could only customize the side pieces. They are also a lot chaper. Are you guys gonna wear goggles this season even if they dont require it? I think it might be a good idea to get used to them.

yea, those look pretty hot, and i'm gonna try those out since basically the irisis' are a pain in the a*ss to wear. i'm not gonna wear goggles this fall season, but in the spring when its requrired then i'll start wearing em. i'll wait until the last possible minute to put them on!

I just saw the Bangerz! They look better than the Cascade Iris, but I'm going to get the Brine Concept this coming season. We were talking about goggles at my last team meeting, and my coach "highly recommends" it. I know she wants us to wear them though. And although a lot of my team mates opposed that idea, parents were really in favor of them. They think it's safe. There are also a lot of teams throughout Washington State that are making their players wear goggles, and I'm guessing that everyone on my team will wear them too. My coach is looking at the Iris, but I'm going to try and convince her to get the Concepts.

Lol no, just not everyone may have them. Check out http://www.laxzilla.com or http://www.bacharachlacrosse.com and they should both have 'em. Also I dont really like Longstreth. Dont like their website. Never updated IMO.

Update on the goggle thing...NFHS and NCAA (or someone else, cant remember) are now requiring us to wear them this season, against the wishes of the USLacrosse Board that decided on them. It stinks but what can you do...obviously petitions, emails, letters wont help. Or data that proves them wrong. Haha another argument for another time. The coach at my school told me that we do have to wear 'em and that she's making me get the Cascade. Grr.

This goggle ordeal would be avoided if "the powers that be" would just suck it up and accept the fact that girls are just as tough and aggressive as the boys. Just wait til their data comes back showing that these goggles didn't do crap. Give us a choice and let us play! GEEZ!!!

The Wired Bangerz on Longstreth.com looks different than the ones I just saw on their website. I wonder if they changed the design of the goggles? Longstregth says they're not going out till Spring 2004.

Though I shouldnt say that since all the guys are obsessed with how good looking their helmets are. Most of them are anyway.

Haha, just looked at the new version of the goggles. The cage part looks exactly like Brine's Concepts. Its an improved look over the original version of the Bangerz wire ones but still ugly. Esp with that nose thing. Ew.

LOL. Yeah, I Don't know anyone will that pointy of a nose. The nose piece looks so small, I think if I wore it, I wouldn't be able to breath.
