it does take a while and since you said a week it sounds like it was 6 days because of Sunday and sometimes it does take that long

umm.. USPS is much faster than that in face, 2-3 days guaranteed. I live farther from them than you do and it takes 3 days for me... Are you sure its not just Electronically received.

USPS is not always that fast. Granted my lax.com orders have never taken long, but the USPS can and will drag heels and stick to the longest projected time every once in awhile. My last few other orders from other online vendors that also went USPS took almost the max time quoted, something which the USPS will repeat back to should you call and enquire about what the hold up is. Once I had a package reach the distribution center a half hour from my place, generally always the last stop before my door. That is until I got home and found out not only was it not delivered, but it was now one state over moving in the opposite direction...I called immediately and all they could do was re-quote me the proposed lenght of time it takes at maximum to reach me, and of course that took another 2 days. Be glad you at least have a working tracking number, something you also don't always get with USPS, so you can at least keep tabs. You'll get your gear, just as Tom Petty says, "the waiting is the hardest part..."

ive had issues before. theyre policy with me was like, well send it out again. basically in 05 i ordered a fuse and platinum and they didnt arrive when they were supposed to. infact, they were over a month late. so i called and emailed them and they said theyd send another order out. got that within 5 days and they also said that if the original order came than i could keep it. 1 week later that came and i was a happy kid.

I think may be lax.com saying its USPS's problem because it literally took 3 days to get a d-pole for North Carolina to California. I dont think i got lucky but rather you got unlucky, i believe getting things on time is a normal occurance for them.
