Soooo, I got a new ipod, the touch, this weekend, and I would love love to hear some recommendations. I’m into rock and roll, some of the classic stuff but something that’s new. My favorite bands include The Who, Jimi Hendrix, and Wolfmother. And I recently got into this band called The Black Summer Crush, and they are AMAZING! Check them out on myspace, and you’ll get a feel for the kind of music I like. Can't wait to hear what you come up with!

That's a search for classic rock, which much like music threads in general has been covered more times than I have fingers and toes to count on. In the future, before starting a thread please search, while some people may be looking for music for a specific purpose (winning over a girl with a mixtape, making a highlight video etc.) most threads covering a specific genre just to name drop bands or songs have been done and are out there waiting for you to click on them.
