i was reading a review of the gloves and some said that colleges were havin a problem with the glove, due to the foaming or plastic over the fingers not holding up after afew practices. is this true or someone that just doesnt like the glove so trying to say that the g22 gloves r bad?
p.s. i did look and didnt find anything about this.

There was a recall, so obviously something was wrong. I would wait a while to buy them if you are going to, or just go with something else.

Its true that they were having problems.
The gloves is pretty good, but right out of the glove feels pretty weird. Once broken in they feel nice.
Wait until the recall ,or whatever happend, is over.

in the review it said the players were getting their fingers crushed. i like the g22s the ipros and the maverik dynasty 2 gloves.

if you think about it, the foam that they used isnt that durable. its like hitting the foam on the bottom of a pair of running shoes, except the pieces are smaller, which means they are prone to tearing in chunks.
good idea but bad choice of materials

reason for the recal

I was at laxapalooza this weekend and was talking with the STX guys. They said their plant overseas used the wrong leather for the gloves on their college sponsored teams and thus they were 'recalled'. All those teams have their new gloves, Cuse's looked sick as they had a pair in the booth. This 'recall' did not affect any of the normal stock gloves.
just search g22 recall or g22 brand
