I'm new to lacrosse, on the gait/db lacrosse site when describing their heads it says "maximum travel" or "minimum travel". what does this mean and which one is better?

i think minimum travel means a quicker release.
since the schematic highlights the area at the scoop where the ball doesn't travel over.
