Under 15 Nationals are in Perth this year.
Home side will have the advantage.
Should be a great show if it is half as good as Under 17 and Under 19 last year.
It is combined with the girls
Do not know where it is being held yet.
Any guys in WA able to tell us that.

Well done laxislife! Should be a great time in Perth. Last years under 15's in Adelaide were a blast. Eastside should have another very good team as 9 former players return, including the majority of their attack. See you in WA!

I think it is being held at Rosalie Park - Subiaco's home grounds, but this is subject to the local Council's approval of the grounds being used out of normal competition dates. If it is at Rosalie Park, the grounds are probably the best in Australia and has had a good reputation for decades.

yeh ive trained at subiacos ground over a few years and each time they were a beautiful track to play on. it would make a great place for the tourney, with the open space. maybe when the comp is in melb i might give some kind of hand coaching...

Will be in Melbourne same time next year in 2009.
They are at same time as School Hols so you can work it out if you have school hols for next year.
Great to see so much enthusiasm.
Stick with it guys

when the competition for the under 15s is held in perth it is usually played at light street in dianella which is where the woman play most of their games. it was a great sucess in 2005 and im quietly confident that the tourny will be played there again not at rosalie unless some one proves me wrong.

southern crosse return nine players from last year (minus charlie timlock, billy exton, anthony jenkinson, elliot del grecco, josh rogers, sam sheedy and max mildren), but I'm not sure how that nine will do in leadership positions, as they were all very much junior players learning from us more experienced guys last year. If tom benson tries out (he may not because of kangas) it'll be interesting to see whether the coaches go with him, considering his improvement from last year and the fact that he's the better goalie these days, or jarred lee, last year's goalie

Hey there,
Just off the top of my head, there is:
Griffin Jenney
Richard Grant
Nicholas Brookes
Scott Wilson
Jacob McCartin
Anthony Mann
Jordayn Morgan
Sean Mates
Alistier Huet
Noah Jenney
I think that's all of them. Hopefully you and your brother will try out because I think you both could contribute at this level. There will also be a few other strong additions including Matthew Harvey, who transfered to Surrey from Footscray this season. Should be a good squad. See you in Perth.

I think that every one that applied for coaching gigs are still waiting to be interviewed by Lax Vic. I know I am and so is Minotour. I am told by John H that interviews will happen this week. I don't know if anyone has applied for Metro or not, maybe you should ring Lax Vic and check Skin.

The tournament will be played on grass at McGilivray Oval where the 2002 World Lacrosse support games were played. It is next to the superturf field where the Australian Seniors Championships are being held at the same time.

THere is no way that The Senior Men's Championship will be held in conjunction with the Junior Under 15 event.
The Senior Carnival will be held on the October Date previously Notified.
This is emphatic and where ever you got your information from you might even tell them that the Men's Senior events and the Under 15 wll definately NOT BE HELD AT THE SAME TIME

Australian Under 15 Girls and Boys Tournaments
28 September – 4 October, Perth
The Under 15 Girls and Boys Tournaments are being conducted by the Subiaco Lacrosse Club. A web site will soon be set up for communication purposes but as general information the Tournaments will be conducted on the grassed fields of McGillivray Park (the site of the 2002 World Championships Red and Green division games). This is an excellent location with ample fields, parking and catering facilities.

yeah its being held at subiaco. good grounds but not the best in perth. the besta re at wembley but there isnt enough space. surprised it isnt being held at light street again as that worked well but yeah.
thunder will have a strong team this year as the clubs that apply for it are top of the ladder.
i dont think braves will give a good show.
in regard to metros lacrosse victoria are having a meeting tonight about a coach. Hopefully my brother and I get appointed the position.

southern coaches for this year are being appointed officially in the next few weeks. i think it's going to be ben stevens (from caulfield, same as last year) and sheedy's dad. a friend also told me tryouts are going to be held towards the end of july.
does sam maher make the age requirement?

Hahaha im one of the bigger guys an when i play i usally just barge through the defence but lately iv'e been called for it.
(you cant just barge through players you have to actully try to dodge the players.) theres other rules to it but thats all iv'e been told.

Northern Thunder has tryouts this weekend and the next.
Coach at the moment is Ben Tippet who was assistant coach last year, not sure who else, still looking for an offensive coach.
The grounds i have heard are at McGilvray Oval, which is a LOT of space and very good quality. Not used for Lacrosse so the ground wont be torn up.
