Has anyone used the STX Vanadium d-shaft? I just recieved one as a replacemnt for my Crankshaft 7050. The Crank broke twice so i decided to try something new and the guy at STX said that this was a pretty good shaft. Any opinions or comments are appreciated.

Its pretty good. I've seen some mighty dents in a couple though. If you can dish it out, get a Scandium. Great shaft for the money.
Does this mean you need to get a new head too?

I hope they send me a new head. The Crankshaft bent on me once, sent it back and bent in the exact same place again during the first practice. Do you think that the Vanadium is stronger though? It's a vanadium/titanium alloy but I dont know... I am also looking at a titanium shaft incase this one breaks, my dad said he wouldnt mind paying half of it so I dont keep having to but new shafts after every game

Oh, its defently stronger. That 7050 is a dent vacum.
The problem with Ti's is that, the don't snap, or dent easily, but they do bend easily. But that also depends on the maker.
I'd save you and your Pop's a little money and just get the Scandium.
