are the g22 gloves the only porblem they have with the group of pads(meaning the shoulder pads and arm guards). cuz i have been thinkin of gettin the group but with the gloves having problems im not sure if the rest of the shoulder pads and arm guards r havin problems either.
also is there a website the has the recall notice on it and explains it?
im not sure if i can ask this but if it is only the gloves havin problems would i be better off getting the stx ipro's, stx k18's or the maverik dynasty's cuz ive saw they have pretty high ratings. or just wait til the recall on the gloves r over?

I didnt know there was a recall.
I know from experience, the k18's are a great buy. Smart.Saf. Worth It. I own the gloves and arm guards and love them. I am not sure about the arm pads, but the entire line is a great quality product.

I can't see how the shoulder pads might rip if the gloves are ripping. I know they use similar materials but if its the palms of the gloves than its a combination of w/e material and the fact the palms see more wear and tear than anything else.
If the shoulder pads turn out okay I've been looking at those, and like JH16 said, K18's (armguards for me) are awesome.

I don't thing there would be problem with the pads besides everyone knos that gloves get beaten to death on a regular basis so they're obviously gonna rip, oh and if you don't end up getting the gloves definitaly rock the k18's they rip in a good way

I was at laxapalooza this weekend and was talking with the STX guys. They said their plant overseas used the wrong leather for the gloves on their college sponsored teams and thus they were 'recalled'. All those teams have their new gloves, Cuse's looked sick as they had a pair in the booth. This 'recall' did not affect any of the normal stock gloves.

the shoulder pads are fantastic, i have a pair. I went into lax unlimitd not thinking at all to buy them then I tried them on and they were so light, had good enough protection all around, and they look ballin.
