If i wanted to do a dye black with red dots would i just do it red then put dots with hot glue and dye over it black? and ive heard that with black you get purple or its not very dark, how do I get a true black?

That would be the correct process.
To get true black, you want to out two packets of black dye in there, and get that water boiling before you get the head into it.

dye it red. either use hot glue or drip candle wax for a cool effect. than use a thick concentration of black dye with water that was just boiling. mix the boiling water and the dye in a bucket or turkey pan and dip the head in. leave it in until you reach the color black you want. if you think you have the right color, wash off the head under warm water, dry it off and look at it under the light, if it's not quite there put it back in the black longer. keep this up until you have your black. then start reveling your red dots. don't rush the black. you'll regret it if it comes out maroon or brown. hope that helps

ok thanks and im just wondering, cause ive never done a dye using hot glue, is it hard to get the glue off? and do i peel the glue off before or after i rinse the head off and put it in the freezer?
