Basically, the only real change is that no part of the body or equipment can be touching the line. The head can still hang over as long as everything is to the left.

Just to clarify a few points:
The rule change is NCAA only as of this moment. Schools playing under NFHS rules are unaffected.
The player's head can be over the midfield stripe, but not the head of the stick.
The center line must be 4 inches wide. This is not a new rule, but because of the new faceoff rules it's not something that can be let go if it's not done properly.

One quick question, does that man my leg can't touch the line? I face-off in a sort of a side ways position, but the stick is still vertical. hard to explain.

Is your leg part of your body? If so, it can't touch the line, since NO PART of the body may touch the centerline.
Now, if you've got a prosthetic leg and you want to take it off and lay it down on the midfield stripe somewhere, I think you're okay! :chuckle:

I don't know for certain, but doesn't a middie's prosthetic leg have to be 40-42 inches long and a D-man's 52-72 inches in length?
