yesterday at practice our coach tried to explain this tactic used by attackmen around the crease, but i don't quite get it.

the tactic is where theres the regular formation around the goal and the person with the ball calls out "one" and they pass it and some people slide to a different position. theres also the same thing with when someone calls out "two", but i don't get that either. i wish i could explain it better, but i couldn't hear because some people wouldn't be quiet.

So, could someone please explain this to me? or give me a name of this tactic so i can look it up somewhere?

Thanks.

dude that makes no sense, there isn't a regular formation, the tactic of calling out "one" then passing the ball and people sliding... this sounds like some sort of play, I haven't heard of attackmen just calling out numbers as a tactic in my life. Unless it's to fake that someone is there.

Also with what you gave us, if it even is a tactic there is noooooooway of even figuring out what you want.

Sounds like your coached named your plays after numbers to me. Smartest thing to do would be talk to your coach and find out what exactly he meant because there's very little to go off of from the information you gave us.

chill out man, I tried to explain it as best as I could. I just thought that maybe somebody else here on this forum might know what I am talking about, or use a similar play. I'm sorry about calling it a "tactic" and not explaining it so well.

anyways, I'll talk to my coach.

thanks.
