State of Virginia Lacrosse

So The past weeekend my friend and I, both players on the same Virginia High School team (Heritage High, Loudoun County) had a pretty heated debate about the Quality of Lacrosse in the State of VA...

I thought it was top 5 if not AT LEAST top 10 in terms of states... He said no way...

Basically I'm just wondering if I'm completely naive or does Virginia not have that great of Lax? Is it respected as a state in the Lax community?

should give you a very good idea of where VA ranks in the quality of lax in the US

UVA has a pretty good, however I dont think that they live up to all the hype they recieved.

VA lax is not respected in the lax community. It is definately not in the top 5 lax states either..maybe top 15..

on the insidelacrosse rankings, i counted 13 states that were ranked and TWO schools in VA. BTW this thread is about Virginia (the state) not UVA (the university).

Believe me, I want to believe that Va is up there. But we are not that good.

make that 3 va schools st stevens st agnes is in va and the bottom 25 are in alphabetical order so theres no telling where va would place on that list

which link did you look at? if there are 15 teams representing 15 different states, then you might have an argument, but i'll be that the list you looked at had at least 6 teams from NYS, 5 from MD and one or two each from, PA, CT, NJ, MA and VA.

thats only 7 states

by maybe top 15, i meant it would be more likely to not be top ten than just making 15..idk, hard to explain what i was thinking
