That's just an expression for a really hard, fast, and well placed shot that's side arm or underhand. You just wind up and shoot as hard as you can as accurately as you can. It's pretty much another word for "rip" a shot.

there really isnt a "right" way to rip a shot. experiment with the different locations to shoot from. over, 3/4, side, and underhand. find one you are most comfortable with and can also generate the most power and speed.
