So maybe by some miracle everyone could come together and reach a consensus of what The OFFICIAL Food of Lacrosse is...?
I say CHIPOTLE,
-Sponsored an NLL event
-It already seems to have a strong fan base in the lax community
-I had it for the first time today and it was incredible

No, how bout a chicken pot pie. It's a mix of so many things, just like lacrosse is a mix of so many sports. It's got the heartiness of chicken (football), the toughness of the breading (hockey) and the grace and fluidity of peas, carrots, and whatever else there may be (soccer and basketball).
I may be a little biased, since I just had it for dinner.

Wow, now I feel like I live on a deserted island. I've never even heard of half of these places, much less seen or eaten there. IDK, around here about the only places actually in town are McDonald's, BK, and Subway. Then again, our team never eats anywhere together. About the only meal we've ever had together was PBJ made by a player's mom. So peanut butter jelly all the way.

Owlslax - is it a taco place with a bunch of creative names for all of their tacos/burritos? becasuse i used to go to a mexican place called moes and they had all kinds of weird names on their menu. it was amazing.
but in my town its either taco bell or hot n now.
i think hot n now is only a michigan thing so none of you have probably heard of it but there is a deal where you can get like 10 burgers, and 6 fries for $10. It is soooooooo amazing you dont even know!!!!!
ive never heard of chipolte

Moe's and Chipotle are in a sense ALMOST Identical.
If you want an anology:
Quiznos is to Subway :AS: Moe's is to Chipotle.
Essentially they are both the Subway of Mexican food where you can build your own burrito/taco/fajita... etc.
Advantage definetly goes to Chipotle.. it was so much fresher and just flat out amazing.
Chicken pot pie was by far the most original suggest however i hate all of those other sports so i definetly veto the C. Pot Pie idea..
I mean I would say we don't NEED an official food or anything obviously but I think it'd be pretty sweet if we had one.

Well i mean no doubt taco bell is good but like everyone know that and its just some fast food chain. Like chipotle is more unique (like less of them) and its less fast food-ish haha but still your right taco bell is the shizz :chuckle:

crabcakes could quite possibly be the only good part about living on the eastern shore of maryland. hahah we have crabmeat on top of everything at my house and we have crabpots at the end of our pier. so for the eastern shore of maryland that is my front runner for official lax food. everywhere else is chipotle though ahha.

Chipotle (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chipotle_Mexican_Grill) is a mexican fast food chain owned by McDonalds, it's along the same lines as Qdoba and Baja Fresh.
Moes (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moe%27s_Southwest_Grill) is also similar to the above.
In N Out (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/In_n_out) is a burger chain in the US Southwest only (CA, NV, AZ et al). They're known to be one of the best burger chains around.
A Garbage plate is a diner food staple that's real big up in Rochester, NY as most of our NY laxers from upstate will atest. There is no real way to describe one, but here's the wikipedia entry (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Garbage_plate)
