I have been checking WMAR's webpage to see when they would put this schedule up. The information has been linked at TLF already; see this post in the thread "CSTV Schedule," (http://www.lacrosseforums.com/showthread.php?p=1452216#post1452216) for example. What is new is that I am listing the information for Baltimore's WMAR channel 2 separately from all the other games on TV. I had a thread like this last year, "Attention, Baltimore-area cheapskates. Lacrosse on TV for free." (http://www.lacrosseforums.com/showthread.php?t=73314)

2008 Lacrosse Schedule (http://www.abc2news.com/content/sports/lax/default.aspx)

Saturday February 23 1:00PM Loyola @ Towson
Saturday March 1 1:00PM Denver @ UMBC
Saturday March 8 2:00PM Duke @ Loyola
Saturday March 15 12:00PM Syracuse @ Hopkins
Saturday March 22 11:00AM Duke @ Georgetown
Saturday March 29 2:00PM N. Carolina @ Hopkins
Friday April 4 8:00PM Navy @ Maryland
Saturday April 5 1:00PM Deleware @ Towson
Saturday April 12 2:00PM Maryland @ Hopkins
Saturday April 19 1:00PM Hartford @ UMBC
Saturday April 26 1:00PM Penn @ Towson
Saturday May 3 1:00PM Hopkins @ Loyola

The page also has a news feed, which gives lacrosse news from all over the country. And I mean all the news - mens, womens, NLL, MLL, high school....

I taped this afternoon's game. I am in Alexandria VA, and receiving channel 2 can be iffy. Sometimes it's unwatchable, but today the reception was about as good as it gets. This is the last year I'll be able to do this, as broadcasting will go digital next year. Digital TV is said to work up to 35 miles away, and I am beyond the limits. So this is it for me. Next year the screen will be blank.

WMAR has been known to run the games again on Saturday night at 11:30 p.m. I do not know if they will do that tonight.

I'm thinking it's about time they showed a womens game. Gee, they've got Maryland and Navy nearby. Isn't there a single game of note?

Note that WMAR leaves the Free State on the 22nd of March for the Duke-Georgetown game. Surely, this one will be standing room only. If it does sell out, the hillside to the north and west of that gem of a stadium will be covered with spectators.
