MLL?

Do you enjoy watching MLL lax. Personally I think its annoying cause the players just show off most of the time.

MLL is great i think. a few years ago it was more like just watching a typical all star game every time, just a bunch of guys showing what they can do. however, i really think its coming into its own. theres still some changes id like to see, like the 4th long pole, but with the talent spread out a bit more, and more expansion on the horizon, the pros are going to start working a lot harder to play in their games. the game is expanding, just as the league is. i really think it wont be long before the pro player will be able to stop worrying about having a second job just to make a living. espn aside (b/c theyre obviously the biggest sponsor, company wise), theyre constantly getting big sponsorships. they started small and slowly growing, and its working. have the patience, and the good will come. the league, i thinkg, knows what its doing. the 2 point arc...eh, treat it like a typical box like in normal field lax, then i wouldnt mind it at all...and the 4th long pole. gotta have that.

they show off because it gets fans going and makes the sport look cooler to people who don't play lacrosse.

You need the pros to get more colleges to have programs. If there aren't any pros then colleges won't see the financial merit to adding a lacrosse team, and the sport dies.

By the way, you don't think the MLL is great because the players show off? What about the NFL? You don't think players show off there? Or do you just hate lacrosse?

I would rather watch MLL than no lacrosse, but I dont like seeing games where the score is like 50 to 48. I also think they shoot from too far away too often. But it's still ok.

I like the MLL. The crease dive is exciting which we can't see in the college game, but I would like to see the 2 point arc eliminated so that the players stop crnaking the shots form so far out all the time as muslax39 just said. I don't think the players are really showing off, they're just that good.

they get into fights in the mll? i wish i could watch it but i dont get espn

oh yeah theres fights. ive seen a few really good ones. the only problem is that they put kind of strict rules on the ones who throw punches etc. kinda dumb. thats probably the one thing id say thats holding them back, is that theyre trying to be too family friendly. every pro league is family friendly, but they also make it known that its a contact sport, and things happen. i dont mind the 2 point arc. it really does add something to the top level of the sport, and if a team needs to catch up, it can make for an interesting end to the game. the only thing id say with that, is that they should institute all the rules of the box on the other levels of outdoor lax, to the arc. that way it doesnt just look like they took something from a sport like basketball, so to make the scoring higher.
