Hey guys, I play attack and the only head I have for a back up stick is an LN STX Bionic. I have mixed feelings about it but based on performance, should I keep it and buy a shaft for it (give example), or sell it to fund a new head.

The Bionic is a great all around head that works especially well as a back up because you can almost count on it never breaking. Critics will say it's "too heavy" for attack, but we're talking about an ounce and a half that separates the Bionic from the lightest heads out there, so if that's honestly too much extra weight for someone to handle then they probably should be in the weight room and not worrying about what stick to carry. Match it up with a strong handle and you have a diesel back up stick that has a nice factory pinch and sets up well for a low mid pocket.

its not to heavy...if you throw a sick pinch on it it will be like brendan cannons that he used for awhile.

I would not call the bionic an attack head, but then again, most people wouldn't call the proton power (my gamer) a d head. It's all preference

I used a Bionic for a season on attack, now it's going to be my back up. Amazing head, held up fantastic, I'd keep it if I were you. I had no problems with it being too heavy or anything like that.

bionics are tanks, they're meant more for D but my buddy plays attack with one and he pinched it and put a sick mid pocket in it and he loves it. id keep it

Its a bit too heavy and unpinched for attack. Sell it and buy an answer. its cheap if your on a price limit.

You're absolutely right, if you're a weakling that can't handle the ball then it is definitely too heavy and unpinched.

The bionic is amazing, my favorite head. That thing will never warp or break, and the pinch on it is fine, you dont need the most pinched head in the world for attack. If you're playing attack you should have the stick skills necessary to play with any head, and if you say its too heavy than wow, play baseball
