how do you get mad hold without the whip

try buying some of textile's composite mesh. Its great for these kind of problems.

whip and hold come hand in hand though, its gonna be pretty hard to get amazing hold with no whip

put the shooters lower towards the pocket, not necessarily tight so u dont have too much whip

and weave 2 leathers into ur mesh, one on the left, one on the right, it gives the pocket a lot better hold

just put your shooters lower. they dont have to be tight but they will give you good hold.
