For some reason I've been hearing a ton this season about shafts with a grippy texture such as the kpro diamond, klyte tacktical, criss cross, vanadium grip, dealbreaker, etc. ripping gloves and their palms. This season people have been saying that the new models of these shafts have made their gloves rip. I'm getting a kpro diamond soon but is this actually true about the new shafts doing this? It seems like a majority of the reviews I have read someone has mentioned that.

This is untrue about the criss cross shaft, in all actuality I could barely tell that there was any type of grip on it at all.

i jsut got a kpro diamond and it seems like the amount of grip is less than it used to be. i wish there was more grip actually. dont worry about the diamond grip it wont rip gloves
