hey what are your guyss favorite lax colleges and why? im a few years away but it never hurts to learn a little more about really good lacrosse colleges so if you guys could help me out that would be great

Syracuse-I've always been a fan.
One thing to remember is, Its not always the best to get into a DI college, theres no gareunte(sp) you'll get on the roster.

well i like loyola college in maryland. Its pretty small (like people wise) and is really close to hopkins and towson. They have a really nice modern student center and fitness and aquatic center. Ive heard that they are building a new outdoor athletic facility so they can hold ncaa tournament games, but i think its going to be somewhere off-campus. Overall the school has a nice campus, is in a nice area (urban but not like a bad area), and has a good feel to it it isnt extemely big but not really small either. btw this is mostly my opinionsyou can search on wikipedia or on the schools site for more. btw this is the loyola in maryland. so check it out online or somethin

The area surrounding the campus isn't considered the campus. Hopkins has a beautiful campus once you get inside. And even though the area around it is kind of bad, its not extreme ghetto.

Well for starters I <3 the college I play for, Green Mountain. As far as D1 goes, I'm a Hopkins fan, and I like all UFlorida sports that interest me. (Football, B-Ball, Lax)

well i got a couple my dad went to su and i ahve alaways been a big fan of them. the alawyas compete year after year! but this is my second year of lax so after hearing about the duke thing i was like" ok noone will like duke ( ididnt no how good they were) so i guess that will be my team'' im more of a player guy though so danowski greer rabil levelle brooks seibald those guys but if you want a real good lax school.. just look at the rankings the top 5 teeams are in tha tspot almost every year

I like Syracuse aswell, can't tell you why I started to though.
And I highly doubt you get into a top D1 lax school unless you are incredibly good, not trying to say that you aren't, but it's gotta be incredibly hard to get into a Syracuse, Hopkins, Georgetown, or Virginia to play lax. But those are teams that consistently have good teams aswell as Maryland and Duke.

And Titanoh, it's guarantee.

HOPKINS! because i like teams when they win... haha... but also, they have an awesome medical program and plus its in the heart of baltimore.

Perfect size for me, not to big, not too cramped
Everyone who goes there is really nice
People say its sort of boring, so that would help me get better grades and at lacrosse because id have nothing better to do.

great coaching staff
a little low key in d1 but still makes an impact every now and then ex. 2006 season
a lot of history in the program

Beautiful campus.
Great academics.
