I assume it would be wiser to place this thread here as opposed to the suggestions forum since it applies to this forum and all the involved moderators will have a better chance of seeing it. I already brought this up in one of the stickies
Is there anything that can be done about all of the stickies at the top of this forum? I have to hit Page Down before I can even get through them all, and some of them are outdated and redundant. For instance, we have three Face-Off stickies, two separate Shooting stickies, three different threads on tips/fundamentals tutorials, some Goon's Guide to Supplements, a 'Newb Question' thread, and a closed 'Ask Your Question' thread.
But seriously for a minute, I realize the face-off thread is an open discussion, but couldn't we put the two locked tutorials as a first post for that thread? Or at least combine the two tutorials into one? I think the same could be done with the shooting threads, just put the locked thread as an intro for the open one. I don't really understand the Hokin's Trainer thread, especially since there are currently 0/11 contributing posts. I think the link could easily be placed in the 2007 Forum Rules thread. As for the Newb Question Thread, that's basically a typical Closed/Locked thread by a new member that was, I don't know, made into a sticky to make an example and stop new members from starting pointless threads by giving them an appropriate place to post. But that is pointless because if new members read stickies, they wouldn't make 'newb' threads in the first place.
