Lots of interesting games this weekend.
I think this will be the turning point for both teams in the UVA/Cuse game...
If UVA wins, Cuse fans' orange glasses will crumble and they will see that their team is still rebuilding/not quite there yet.
If cuse wins (and Brattons don't produce again), UVA might realize that they are too young to really compete this year.

Hey Steg, interesting line-up for the top picks. We agree on the top choice, but it would have been interesting if a couple of other match-ups made the selection group. Here's my top 3. Can't wait to get to Baltimore ... is it Friday yet?

1. Syracuse vs. Virginia in Baltimore
2. Maryland @ Duke
3. Cornell @ North Carolina

Good man! ... I still would have picked Syracuse-Virginia. One other battle that's got me psyched is Albany vs. Notre Dame. Week No. 2 is when my picks started heading south last year (after a 4-0 in the first week); I think the Irish will get this one -- but not by much! Definitely the fourth best game on the slate in my opinion.

i think maryland vs duke will be huge. is duke as good as everyone thinks they are and was the georgetown game a fluke or is maryland with its freshmen attack a serious contender?

Decisions, decisions... Do I go see Yale v. UMASS or Fairfield v. Dartmouth? I guess I win either way. Neither game is a HUGE match up but I'm looking forward to some solid lacrosse.

My picks for the week...I was embarrased last week.
Let's hope I can turn it around.
