NYU lacrosse

does anyone know what NYU's lacrosse is like? From what I can tell, it seems to be pretty 'beer league.' I love everything about NYU but their lacrosse team seems to be a joke. Could anyone tell me otherwise? This might make or break whether I'm going to apply to NYU early.

They have a club team that's part of the NCLL NY Metro Divison.

They usually field 20-25 guys.

they are in the middle of the pack in the league. we had a down year last year and spanked them. we play them in a week and a half so if you PM me I can let you know how the game goes. I can tell you that club lacrosse here at Hofstra is real legit.

thank can't be. The must play all the teams in our league, the NY metro league. We have at least 14 games this season without the post-season.

NYU is historically known to play the first college lacrosse game in America even though it doesnt have an official program

we are nasty. we just opened up our season yesterday and won 15-3 and 9-1. We have a bunch of kids who used to play on the D-I team and several more who were recruited by them. A true test for us will be columbia next sunday.

As for the school, if you have any questions you can IM me or whatever. That's actually sort-of how i wound up here, except i did visit before i applied. I don't know how much money they offered you but $50,000 certainly made my college choice a bit easier. I love it here, and its a great school.

Its missing a game plus playoffs and there are at least 3 games at that beltway bash tournament, with up to 6 if we run the table. So we play a minimum of 15 games.
