I belive being left handed is pretty cool when you play the right position with it.
I am pretty good in both hands but i am naturally left handed and will always play better with my left hand no matter what.
I really enjoy starting with my right hand (i play left attack) and when the defense least expect it pull a doge and swith to my left hand and score. It gets em every time...
What about you guys? What do your left skills help with?

Since I sometimes face off what i do is face off then pick up the gb righty then they start to force to your left and you go with it and blow by them works every time

i took the advise of my travel coach freshmen year to get a left hand and it was probly the best advise iver ever gotten.... it adds a whole new dimension to your game thats not there with just a right hand or just a left hand. playing attack it was obviously vital getting a left, but now i am just as comfortable left as i am right and in some cases perfer it over righty just because it frustrates the defender

I like it more for my dodges and cradling more than anything else. If you cant use your left hand to dodge, it makes it so much easier for the d-man to take the ball away from you. its like one of my friends last year, he could only cradle with his right hand so when he ran to the left side of the goal, his stick was on the inside, toward the d-man, and it was a lot easier for him to get it. it also helps a lot when you come off a dodge and you can use your left hand to shoot, instead of having to switch to your right.
Yeah knowing how to play lefty any position is great. I'm starting to get better at lefty with a d pole.

i am lefty and it doesn't help me. my team only passes to the right, and they aren't making use of the left side. but whatever, i just fight for the ball on my own, and it's pretty sick to own defenders.

wellmy favorite thing about being ALMOST completely ambidextrious with a lacrosse stick, it gives you sooooo many more options. i dont have to go righty to get a nice crank shot off, i can go left and have a nice shot also. plus i play X so i need to go lefty alot as much as righty. its just nice to not worry about getting to one hand.
