Does anyone know where I can find a custom throat protector? Have you noticed that most DI goalminders have cascade helmets but have stronger, bigger and safer throat protectors? Also, I have a pro 7 and I don't wanna use a cascade throat protector? Any Ideas?

i cant see very much difference between brands.

I'm talking about the other brands. The throat protectors they pros and D1 players use have to be custom made they aren't close to anything that cascade or other companies put out

are you serious? go to lax.com every d1 goalie is using the same the same plastic cascade throat guard everyone else is. and chances are you aren't the level where you would ever need anything custom made anyway.

I second smalbikpro. All the goalies I've seen in the lax.com pics as well as anywhere else all have the same cascade guards if they're wearing a Cascade helmet or the same brine guard if they're wearing a Brine helmet and so on. I don't see any reason not to buy a Cascade throat guard, its completely unnecessary to get something custom.

fellas. First of all I'm at at the level to be wearing something stronger (I'm a graduate from Mercyhurst and still actively playing). I can't find a picture, I don't know if it was Hewitt but someone I'm telling you had a throat protector that was massive and personally looked so much better than what the major companies are putting out. Ill find a picture and post it up.

Ok, I realized it was a warrior throat protector but is that possible with a cascade helmet?

That's a standard Cascade clear throat protector on Galloway's Pro7. I doubt you're seeing shots harder or faster than what he's facing.
And, yes, I'll bet you could fit a Warrior throat protector on your Cascade with some string, but the question is why? I've used the Cascade clear one for a while on my CPX (I play post-collegiate ball in the ALL with some very good shooters) and still haven't broken one yet. They work great.

Yes that is a warrior throat guard. and yes you can. Its called one, other go to a tool shop, ace, lows, etc. and find stuff and do it your self. Thats what i did for my friend. Or two, get someone you know is good with tools and has nuts, screws, laying around. Though if you have to drill into your helmet i would suggest not doing so.

Hahah, just go with the cascade one...
and the warrior one definitely looks thinner.

Alex Hewitt has a custom one for his venom you could just put a hemet sticker on there make it look cool

In one year two brine throat guards broke from shots.

Just get a hockey one or the standard cascade lexan. Same thing except for shape. It doesn't get stronger than that.
