i was at the game and umd was up 8-1 at half when i left. travis reed had a hat trick before the end of the 1st quarter, i believe. i'm guessing that they put their reserves in to get some playing time in the 2nd half, but if they didn't, then that doesn't bode well for umd because they're not gonna be able to close against better teams.
