Predicting

Basically the title says it. Do you guys predict and kinda get ready to move where you think the ball is gonna go. I do, just wondering what you guys do.

I don't i just watch the ball come out of the stick becuase if i predict it's going top right than they shoot bottom left there going to score

watch the ball as best you can, follow it with your stick.

Other than positioning my body to cover more goal as the shooter gets ready to shoot, I don't try to predict where the ball will go. I just focus on watching the ball through my top hand, and driving my top hand to the ball as quickly as possible.

For me, I can kind of tell where the shooter is going to shoot. Watch his eyes, body language shows a lot.

watching eyes is bad, a decent shooter will pick up on the fact that your watching his eyes.

i don't predict persay, I learn their habits if they have any, learn what shots they like, what they dont like and body language before they shoot

usually when i see a shooter bringing his stick straight over top it usually is goin to go low. and if he comes side arm it usually pulls to the side where the stick ends ex. a righty shootin.. the stick ends on the left.... the ball will get pulled to the left...

and that is a high emphasis on the usually.. also the shoulders, and the hands tell you alot

I predict until I find a player that is unpredictable. You can usually tell where the shot is going if the shooter isn't so good. The better ones you just gotta make yourself wait till the ball leaves the stick.

up close I predict...when I wont have time to react. otherwise I'm watching the stick the whole way.
