Didn't see a thread on it, and yeah i guess its technically over.... but who saw the game on the U?! Those retrievers were playing one crazy game, i mean i don't think anyone expected them to win.. but 10-8? It was a great game to watch, what do you guys think about this?

It should have been 10-9 the refs robbed Hoppman of that goal, you could see the net move, but they still probaly would have lost. They played great, i was rooting for them, I think they showed ALOT of Hopkins weakness'. Teams already have them figured out and alot of the "star" players arent really doing all that great. They should have beat UMBC by alot more than 2. But Blevins played amazing and their D did a pretty good job containing Huntley.

yeah, thats really what i thought too. Blevins is really on a roll this year, and as long as you can contain huntley and keep rabils awesomeness to a minimum.. i think a lot of teams have more of a chance then they think they do against JHU this year.

Also what about Kyle Harrisons cousin Maxx Davis? He lit it up for UMBC

hopkins looked sluggish...im not making excuses lol so dont jump me. They were off. But UMBC played great and Maxx Davis will shine for them this year

davis scored his first two goals of his career in that game... he'll be good.

No doubt he'll always have the chip on his shoulder of being K Harrisons cousin... but yeah, he looks like he'll be a player to watch. what year is he? i didnt catch it.

Haha Anyone hear the WE WANT SCHWARTZMAN chant? i hope this finally put to rest those saying gvodsen is the best goalie in D1. however, the best keeper was on the field. Belvins

yeah, huntley was tearing it up, then the UMBC def. practicaly shut him down, congratz to them, but hopkins is still the team to beat, they have one of the best defenses, kevin huntley, and of course (but a nonfactor in this game) paul rabil. the year is still early, but umbc did show some significant talent in maxx davis(i love the 2 x's its pretty BA).

i heard it to, i wonder if someone told him that schwartzman is not eaven playing for them anymore
