Go to the website and look at the list of colleges attending - good advice for any camp, especially small camps - Tier 1 is a small camp - the good part of that is you get more attention from the coaches who are there - so if the schools at Tier 1 are high on your list (and you have the grades for them) go - my son was invited, but he is going to the NEPL showcase instead as most of the Tier 1 schools are also at NE 150 and the summer travel budget is getting a little crazy.

That's the one at Haverford College? Good camp, EXCELLENT coaching staff, esp. if any of them and/or college coaches attending interest you, like Marty said. See if you're in the ballpark of those colleges' grade requirements. If you got an invite, you probably "fit" gradewise. I don't think they "just invite everyone."

Haverford upset Gettysburg and Geneseo last year so they're considered a fast-rising team (coaches' poll ranks them now at #18 nationally) and HC Coach Murphy gets many kudos from fellow coaches, even some well-known DI coaches. My son's going there this fall, and when he let other coaches know that he was committed, every one replying said Coach Murphy was outstanding.

[FYI: HC's goalie coach is Philly Barrage 3-time GOY Brian Dougherty too, 'though I doubt he's at the camp (it being MLL season and all).]

It all depends on what you want, who you want to be seen by the most.
