i think it'd be cool if this site had certain pages for certin areas...
that way people could talk about their local leagues or school team nd discuss games, players and teams in their area.

I know this would be very difficult to sort out ALL of the different sections of the lax world, but it might just be a way to make a big website smaller..

You can start a thread in the General Forum for your particular school/league, if you know there are several members of your team on this forum who wish to discuss things, then put a link to that thread in your signature.

I don't, however, want to see threads littering that forum about leagues/schools that will have absolutely no discussion. I only want something like that set up if we know there are several members from that league on this message board.

I'm not going to program a hundred new child forums for each individual league, because thats just insane. ONE thread for a league discussion is all that's necessary. If it gets out of hand, or there is no discussion going on, don't be surprised if it gets removed, and appropriate infraction points are awarded, so unless thats your goal, be appropriate.

I must say, this is not one of the best suggestions I've heard. Do you relize how many different ares are represented by TLF members? How many different countries as well? If you want to have somehting for your area a thread would be better than a whole nother forum, there's alot of threads like that already, there's like"CNY Lacrosse", etc.. And I don't think it would exactly make the website smaller. The only sections we need, are Mens, Womens, Box, International, High School, and General. And we've got all that covered.

That's just an opinion from another regular member. But, hey, it's not a bad thing to suggest stuff, and give it a shot.

lifeoflax45...I'm not quite sure why you felt the need to basically add nothing to this discussion, and yet completely miss my entire post saying that this was a fine idea, and how to go about setting this up.

I have to say, I'm very annoyed that this is a growing trend on this board. PLEASE read all the posts in a thread, so you don't end up looking foolish, and repeating something that someone else said. All you prove is that you failed to read everything.

As I outlined in my initial post, make a thread in the General forum, ONLY ONE THREAD PER LEAGUE, and discuss there. Make a link in your sig about your league thread, and then discuss as necessary. Make any new threads, or get out of hand in your threads, the game is over, all threads get nixed, and infraction points will be awarded.

READ MY FIRST POST, AND JUST DO THAT...DON'T POST "OH MAN THATS AWESOME", BECAUSE IT ADDS NOTHING, AND IT JUST MAKES YOU LOOK LIKE A FOOL.
