Brine Edge: Worth it or not?

So i want to restring an original Brine Edge for a backup stick just incase my main stick goes during a game. Is it worth it to restring it or should i just leave it be and have my old F-10 + Blaze stick from way back when be my back-up?

im just playing attack and/or mid depending on what team i make at my school this spring (Fresh/JV)

pinch the edge and restring it. itll cost you less than $10 to get stringing supplies unless you have to order online and pay shipping but still itll be like $!5 so why not?
