no clue how to make one. but you can get one for 17 bucks at hickorylax.com Maybe not the best shafts to use in a game but still sweet

It takes a real long time becuase you have to let the wood age. And you have to find a hickory tree to cut...and you have to cut the whole tree cuz you need a section from the outside-ish edge. Then it just comes down to being good with a draw knive. I'm trying to make an old wooden stick like the natives used but I don't wanna cut down a whole damn tree for a stick.

Haha, Nice! But I think he is just asking about ur basic wodden shaft and not the native american stick
