Anyone used the Harrow Goalie shaft? I'm curious about the rubberized grip and how people like it. Anyone have one?
As a related question, anyone tried that Brine tacky grip tape on a goalie shaft?

My backup has the harrow, its pretty light, and the rubberized grip eliminates the need for tape and holds very nice. The only problem with it that a good crank shot into the shaft could break it. There not known for their durability, and i know a goalie at a rival school who has broken 3 of them because of shaft saves.

Not worth it in my opinion, good grip and its nice until the shaft starts chipping.

I made that awhile ago. Just read through the posts. I decided not to get one-just a gimmick

I made a review, should be posted somewhere.
Anyway, its a nice light shaft, but its not strong. I broke mine in middle of the season when an attack man checked my stick on a clear.

But the Vanadium is attack-length only, right? I don't see it in goalie length anywhere.

I would reccomend a Brine SC21, I found it in goalie length one time, but i'm tryin' to find the site (i think its laxworld) but i use attack length soo.... hopefully i'll find it and post it. I'll get back to you

About the Vandium, the grip is going to come off preaty fast like the middle of the season it will have no grip im not to happy about that but its a good shaft not the grip though. After 1 practice its allready wearing off little pieces.

I saw a goalie in another game with the one-piece goalie stick. He cleared the ball almost 70yds!

Yeah I have that stick it's the harrow freeze. It's a nice lightweight stick however I feel like it's going to break after a good shot hits it in the head because it's hollow. It comes in goalie length or shorty length. Costs about 250 so I wouldn't recommend it.

I use one as my main stick and its sick! Most people say they break easy and they suck, but in my experience they are no more brittle than a db 803 or warrior diamond. They are the lightest sticks I have ever felt.
I am afraid of the sound it makes whenever u make a save off the head cause it sounds like it breaks hardcore but so far only a few chips in the rubberized finish.
And its only $150 if you go to there website and type it castleview as a coupon code which is average price for a goalie stick (shaft and head)

Very good. Only stick better (but heavier) was the brine F15.

I have Harrow I-beam, which is similar to the goalie shaft but is in the attack length and has a stress flex tapered handle. It has a rubberized finished, I love it.
