here is my very first rock-it pocket.
NOW i know what the hype is all about, these things are amazing!
anyways, i know i am missing the twisting sidewall thingy, but i find that to be irrevelant to the pocket, so tell me how i did for what it is.

the sadle looks a little messy but other then that looks good and i agree with bretmac

murder i post this agian cause i am enternally(sp?) sad..... wheres the watermelon colours you havent posted a string job in so long i was excited for the pink and green everyone loves you for.... (end colour rant)

i have a thread i posted a little whole ago, (maybe a week or two?) and i used some green in there, but recently i have been shying away from using pink. namely because 1. i have run out of it and 2. i wanna broaden my horizons and not only be known for my "watermelon" colors.
thats why i went for an all-white rock-it pocket.

That looks really good. It looks like the knots could be a tad tighter, but that doesn't really matter. Very clean and well done! :thumbsup:

the side arent perfect but im not exactly an expert
if you end up stringing another there is a tutorial on the sidewalls on post 56 in this thread

kevidinho - yeah i plan on stringing a bunch of these; thanks for the link too, it looks simple enough.
everyone - i guess to bring back old memories i'll try to pinch and string (and maybe even dye) my good old evo, watermelon style.

That looks good, but IMO i think all non-mesh pockets are gimmicks. Seriously, do you see ANY college lacrosse and pro lacrosse players using leather pockets?

what did every player use years and years ago? traditional.
if it worked for them, it can work for us, its just that we choose to use what we are most familiar with; which for most of us, is mesh.
i personally use mesh, but i wouldnt mind using a "non-mesh" stick at all, i would actually love to put a another rock-it pocket in my gamer.

ya, i agree; i have seen many pro players usin trads, but the majority of college and pro players use mesh.
