Im thinking of buying a Spool. All my life i have been using normal sidewall for my mesh jobsm but lately a couple of my friends have been using crosslace. What whould u reccomend????

For sidewalls?

Sidwall lace. It's thicker and more durable.

which one is bigger? I've been stringing for a short time and am also going to put an order in soon

they are both 100 yards but sidewall is thicker.

doesnt matter

i use crosslace for my stick and it last, i think just as long, i play attack if that matters

There really isn't a huge difference. You'd probably have to test it to be able to tell.

But it makes sense: Two strings of the same material, the thicker one will be stronger.

but becuase it thinner do u think i could make better sidewall knots. Im sure you all know how diffikcult it can be to make ur sidewall tight and pulling it, but u can only get them so tight becuase they are thick... If that makes sense

I use cross lace for exactly that reason.

I recommend the flat x-lace from stringers shack

well, what others have said is true

the crosslace is stronger and more durable, but I would say get the x-lace. It is a little weaker but you can easily repair a sidewall or bottom string (xlace isnt THAT much weaker either)

also x lace will allow you to have the option of stringing customs and trads
