Low Pockets

Whenever I string sticks using Orange's guide or anything, my pockets always seem to be really low instead of in the middle. I am currently working on a proton + for defense and it is the same thing, is it cause im doubling up too much close to the throat?

yea, just move your double ups a bit higher up. This should give you a mid pocket.

are there any advantages of having a mid pocket rather than a lower one?

its a mix between a high and low so it combines both of thier pros and cons

this is my breakdown

high pocket has the most whip usually and so it has the most hold

mid pocket will have medium whip and medium hold

low pockets have the least hold but least whip
