Since i had an older Cascade helment drilling holes in the right place and getting it right were hard, but i think it turned out well, although im a little worried because i have never used the acutaly plastic glass ones, How much resistance should it be giving. It does move up and down nicely but some force is needed. Is this right or should it move very freely?

Even when I drilled the holes in the recommended places on my cpro, the throat guard moved stiffly for the first month or so. Eventually, I guess, the holes got bigger, allowing the guard to swing more freely like it is supposed to. So, if you are looking to have the guard move freely now, I might recommend expanding the holes you drilled by a very small margin.

Yea you should have to use some force to move it over time the holes will get bigger allowing it to movea little more freely.
105th post my lucky number i would tell you why but then it wouldn't be lucky
