Do proton powers get illegal pinches easily?

depends on what you do to them. if you take many faceoffs they will pinch normaly. they arent to pinched to begin with so just whach the pinch after faceoffs

no ive been faceing off with mi pp for a year atleast and ie had no trouble...the only illegal problem is down by the throat the ball gets caught on the strung sidewall string but that happens to most heads

I've gone through 3 proton powers and am on my 4th.

I've never had a problem with them pinching. They've only snapped on me. My biggest problem was when I would try to put a pocket in with 3 shooter laces up top, the pocket would form to one side or the other. I now use a Cali Connection-like pocket and have no problem with the pocket forming on one of the sides. The reason that the pocket would form funny-like was due to the two bottom holes and there not being 4 like on other heads.

Another thing I've noticed about the PP is that the plastic on the bottom front sidewalls is different and stiffer from that of the other parts of the head. It is stiff and "dry" where the other plastic is bendy and soft (I can make a line with my fingernail in the plastic).

I highly suggest it, they're great for middy play.

i have done some nasty , but legal, things to people with my pp. i warped it a little but i unwarped it back to its original place. im a pole so get one it doesnt pinch.
