I am a defender and used a Bionic for 1 season (and 2 indoor seasons) the head became warped and bent and one practice i layed a nice check in the gut of an attackmen and look and the sidewall was broke. I took care of it. didn't throw it on the ground or leave it in the cold. is this normal? i hear good things about the head but i wasn't impressed i mean it broke after one year and it is supposed to be a durable head. maybe its just me. idk

Unfortunately, there is no such thing as an unbreakable head (though the Bionic comes pretty close). All heads are susceptible to breaking, and a nice check can cause a head to snap. The Bionic is a very strong head. I guess you just had a case of bad luck...

Just buy a new one if you liked it. Basically, you didn't do anything wrong, heads just break.
