I've enjoyed talk about Dartmouth being the next party-crasher on the national stage … that is, with the Big Green's recruits and second-year players, they'll soon be making some noise in the Ivy and making regular runs at the NCAA Tournament. Hit the weight room and keep wrestling with the hockey team guys, and it'll happen.
Last year Dartmouth was competitive against some of the best teams in the nation, and Atlanta is an opportunity to gauge the program's improvement before conference play begins. The bad news is Notre Dame is coming off a heartbreaking loss at No. 3 Carolina and needs a win to get back on track. Adding fuel to that burn is the memory of the Big Green's 7-6 upset of the Irish last year. I think Notre Dame pulls away in the second half, with Joey Kemp (.636 save %) in cage and more accurate shooters from a more experienced attack -- Hoff, Swezey and Wharton (28 goals, 10 assists).
On the other hand, Ari Sussman (8g/2a), Brian Koch (6/2) and middie Jimmy Mullen (5/2) are living that rare opportunity to deliver their program to the next level, and their supporting cast is still largely unknown. But 13 players have signed onto the Greens' scoring chart. Can't put a number on heart and soul. Solid at the face-off X, holding opponents' shots on goal percentage to the mid-50s, winning the ground ball scrums, avoiding penalties, workman-like performance by both goalies (Marshall and Novosel), great assists to shots ratio -- the Big Green are doing a lot of things right. This one could be a lot closer than the experts think …
Notre Dame 14-9

I'm going to the game and I think that nd will win after a little difficulty in the first half.
But I want dartmouth to win

Yeah, all the info is on BreakawayLacrosse.com under tickets.
Starts at 2pm but parking at Lovett is gonna suck so there's a free shuttle if you don't get to Lovett early enough to snag a spot. Get there early and get a better seat. There's some Brine stuff that's going to be set up.

Game was delayed until 430 because of tornado/storm precautions.
Notre Dame won 19-7. Good game up until halftime with the game being tight but ND was just too much size/speed against Dartmouth.
Weather ended up being PERFECT for the game.

yeah there were sirens goin off from like 3:00-4:00 for tornado warnings and tad bit of rain. But by 430 it was sunny and like 70 degrees. Notre Dame was all over Darmouth in 1st quarter and 2nd half. Dartmouth was oly good in the second quarter. It wasnt that bad though because every one was buying ND t shirts because of it so i easily go a dartmouth one (yay).

BEAUTIFUL weather
I sat on the opposite side of the field and we got a nice breeze off the river :)
one thing I noticed was how much bigger ND was than dartmouth and how they destroyed on the faceoffs
