i believe the score was 18-16.
yea, my coach is on chapman and he said that if the defense had picked up a little they would have had the game. I'm kind of with him...chapman did put up 16 goals.

you have to remember that NCAA team use these scrimmages (thats what they are considered) against MCLA teams as tune-ups/practice for their real NCAA games. I've seen a few NCAA vs MCLA games, and the NCAA team had subs/freshman in for more than half of the game.
either way, 15-16 goals against a NCAA Goalie and Defense (whether backups freshman or whatever, is still impressive

I very much doubt it in this case. Both teams were playing their starters for a majority of the game. Also, look at who had points for Ithica.... Lots and lots of juniors and seniors. While I'm sure most people are ignorant and refuse to admit that some MCLA teams can hang with NCAA teams, it does seem as if the tides are turning

There is no doubt that some MCLA teams can hang with NCAA teams. I'm simply saying that i've seen in person (many times) where the NCAA team doesn't go die hard in order to win.
The success of the MCLA is (i hope) opening the eyes of some NCAA officials and administrators of schools with MCLA teams.
The MCLA is the best thing that could've ever happened to lacrosse in general and at the NCAA level. As soon as the first school decides to support their lacrosse team and make them NCAA, many more will fall like dominoes, thus spreading the sport across areas of the country where lax isn't as visible.
