i know there is probably another thread on this but i couldnt find it even using the search bar, what do you all think the best jersey number is for a goalie?

yeah I think there was a thread about this about a year ago, but I used to go for 30 like a good amount of hockey goalies, but I switched to 23 cause it's like the best number ever. and its Mike Jordans also.

nationwide, the most popular goalie numbers are probably: 1, 2, 23, and 15. you see those a lot in the college and pro game, as well as many high-schoolers. i wore 23 last year, and wasn't in love with it, so this year i have 7, which so far has served me decently.

i grew up bein a hockey goalie first i started lacrosse about a year ago but watchin the nhl and other games i realized goalies either have number 1, 99, or a number in the 30's
i didn't understand why the 30's were used and i wanted 99 for hockey (i ended up with 90 though) so the only one left for lacrosse was 1

im not a goalie but 2 would be the nicest goalie number... for defense i gut 16 (lucky number) or 44, 43... then for lower numbers anything from 10-18 even and 13, 24... i have a history of kids picking my choice before me so I am forced to have a backup

8 has been my lucky number since I started playing soccer when I was four. needless to say, i still wear it when I play soccer.

as for lacrosse... number 45 is the way I play. Actually, it was the only one my chest pad would fit under. now it's mine. I would honestly like to wear 26 or 66 (after my favorite goalies)
