Mini-Stick Beach Lacrosse

Has anyone heard of mini-stick beach lacrosse?

I heard about a tournament held and it was 3-on-3 (1 goalie & two players) on a volleyball court (no net of course!). The boundaries were the same, two mini-nets at each end, and all three players from each team used mini-sticks (replicas...not the cheap ones). They used the softer ball too. No equipment, no contact, just some stick checking I think. There were penalities, I think they had penalty shots or something like that. The games were short, but fun. Kind of like a Turkeyshoot.

Anyone heard of this? I want to know more about the rules, etc. We may run a similar tournament if we can get more information (either from someone or maybe a website).

We had a full out game this past summer, three on three with two field style goalies (just our fearless box goalies....and us shooting light or deeking them mostly) and we had like 2 6' pegs for volleyball nets plugged in the ground with no crossbar, and we played with one of those old school red/white/blue heavy sponge balls, about the closest thing to a lax ball in terms of weight and size and soft.....

HAHAHAH but try it....it beats freggin volleyball or soccer or any other beach activity...ps: use backup sticks.....you get lots of sand and gunk fromm scooping on the sand///LOL

Anything to do with mini lax is the bomb. My friend had an empty room at his house, 2 mini goals and some sticks. We just cranked it at the goal and did some wicked things you didn't have the guts to do in a real game.

Playing on the beach sounds like alot of fun. I'd use a mini net but a normal stick.

i did that with my friens on nantucket. no real goals, we used the dunes as goals. it was sick and now my mini razer is all dented up, anyone have the mini nemesis, looks cool

You have fun and at the same time get people curious about lacrosse.

Wow, we got ourselves a hardcore dude here guys. What's wrong with mini lax on the beach? Beats volleyball and other beachy activites by a lot. When I go to Florida I always bring a couple sticks to go play with.

Give me a break... I'm sick of people bashing on warrior just because their marketing schemes. Who cares if they are a little "cheesy" or "dumb" they sell products and in the end thats what counts in a big name company. And for the most part their products are quality. So stop saying garbage about someting being too "Warrior" because it is all a bunch of BS. I can understand if you prefer other company's products over warrior's but just hating on them for their selling stragety? That is rediculus.

Back on topic beach lax is sweet. The ball doesn't roll and u get to check out the hot babes walkin along the beach. But the bad thing is getting sand everywhere when you scoop :crazy:

i have a hole attick that was unfinished...my dad layed down turf and i set up my two mini goals....i have about ten mini razors, 4 mini nemises, 6 mini nitrouses, and a couple mini nitrous dpoles....plus my guru...we rip that stuff up

I was just playing catch on the beach the other day and all the people were looking at use...Good way to spread lax...BTW where did u get all those mini sticks CyCloneLaXer17?
