Its their new marketing strategy. I don't really understand it. Check out the new deuce add, its in the last issue of the GA catalog sent home. In involves a player shrouded in darkness, barely visible are his gloves and a deuce and it says something in neon glowy writing.

u can disagree with my views, u are allowed to say what u think... but u dont see me putting someone out because of what they feel about a company, everyone has their own oppinion and unlike most of the people who have replied, i respect that... every single person who has replied to this thread has said to either shut up or that no one cares...

it would be nice to see someone say they disagree instead of... "give me a break im sick of everyone hating warrior cuz their cheesy" or "keep it to ur self, no one cares"

and everyone assumes that people bash them for the whole "pimp slapping" scheme... i hate on them simply because i dont like anything that warrior does or produces, with the finalizer as an exception... and i was trying to point out that no one stops to think that

and yeah, the deuce ad, "JOIN THE INVASION", stx is trying to do that punk rebellious look, brine is going for the preppy A&F look, and warriors going for that over the top urban sex sells look. If we were all judging companies by their marketing techniques, we would all buy debeer/gait because they dont use any type of scheme at all. But debeer/gait aint very popular in the US, now is it?

i for one love warriors heads. these are the last heads ive owned: evopro, razer, finalizer, blade,revo. and a few stx and brines in there but mostly warrior.

Personally, I think no other company can compete with Warrior in the glove department. Brine, STX, and Gait all have nice gloves but year after year Warrior comes out with the highest quality gloves (superstars, super freaks, mac daddies) Even though they are overpriced I feel many people agree with me that they are the nicest gloves each year. Except maybe the superstars, a lot of people liuked them, i for one didnt think they were that great.

(I will probably get the insanities even though I think the mac daddies are better)

first...dont double post. second, do you think the MLL is that popular? heck no. little kids dont watch the mll. warriors advertising gets the job done. call it dirty, filthy, whatever. any lax magazine you open is filled with warrior ads. their shiny flashy gear, although many of us hate it, is appealing to many. and maybe they just make good gear? admit it, they make great shoulder pads, like blckout said, top of the line gloves, and good armpads. their top of the line heads are very popular, despite all of your bashing. and their shafts, while not the best, are still popular. Besides their poor shafts, can you really complain about finalizers? evo pros? revo pros? even good old revos/evos? Ignore prices.....just compare the sheer quality of gear. And lets think of this...warrior is only 10 years old. they are a baby compared to stx and brine, yet they have become one of the biggest lax companies in the world, probably the biggest. I dont care if you dont like what warrior does with their image, they are the king of lacrosse gear. and a few anti warrior bashing or some one sided article on e-lacrosse won't change it.

Slick ad campaigns, popular spokesmen (Powell), shiny products are a big part of their success.....however, another part is the three B's:

"Bull**** Baffles Brains"

They have so many different product lines relative to the other companies, that half of every laX section is Warrior. Any kid going to a laX store has to walk past all of this stuff before even seeing the (not as slickly marketed) Brine/STX/Gait stuff. This helps fool the casual, not too well informed consumer.

Personally, I don't hate Warrior stuff (much of it is decent) and I don't care how they market it (free speech), I just think that very little of their product is good value for the dollar. Its either overpriced, or not as durable as the other brands.

I can see your point...and I agree. But some stores arent like that. Here in MA, brine overwhelms your average sporting goods store in lax equipment. And at my local lacrosse store, they only sell STX, Gait, and Harrow. Kinda weird eh? They dont even sell cascades.
