Back up stick? get same stick or diff one?

For x-mas I want to get a back up stick because i play with a close to illegal pocket and if it gets benched for the game im going to need a back up...Right now I have Krypto Pro Wire Fad with a Evolution...Should I get another Wire Fad and Evo or should I mix it up...I wish thinking a revo pro but i dont want to have to adapt to two diff heads...

well, maybe evo pro and a regular krypto pro. im guesising u like ur evo and the pro is only better but more expensive and you can get the regular kpro which is less so it evens out cash wise. thats a nice setup, probably would start instead.

try mixing it up a little bit... until u try all different things u might not kno what else u like... dont commit to using just one stick

Thats the thing I loved my savage when i first started playing but I need better ball control and shot speed ect...I love the evo now that i got a mad pocket on it...I almost forgot haha I already have a extra krypto pro wire fad shaft (my last shaft). But its cracked ( should i jsut get another?). Maybe ill try the evo pro.

You can pretty much use any head you want as your backup, but the rule of thumb is to have the same pocket. So it is kind of ironic to have the same "almost illegal" pocket in two sticks. So basically it's a catch 22. I'd say get the same pocket, but make it more shallow. Use any head you want but make sure they are similar (offset/onset, pinched/wide, etc).

That way when you use your backup head, you will be able to catch with it and when you throw a pass it won't go over your buddy's head.

i agree with bt, the point of a backup stick is so that if you need to use it you can just pick it up and start playin with it, so as long as it throws the same it can be however you want it

You guys are a varsity sport at your schools...We are trying so hard to be accpeted but are jsut club status for now.

As far as a backup head goes, just string the same pocket and you'll be fine. Get an Evo on an Ignite or something.

you should have about the same stick w/ the same pocket but if your playing with an almost illegal stick you dont want your back up to be almost illigal to, so in your case i would say it dosnt matter, get some diff

i would mix it up cuz i like to see wut else there is and try different sticks to see if i like other sticks...

on the kpro wire fade how big is the crack? I have an f55 brand new a few small scratches I might trade for it pm me also I would keep it in the same area for heads just the pinch and scoop just make sure the pockets have the same amount of whip and stuff as for shafts just make sure they weigh about the same
