Counterstrike ques.

We just got a new computer and I want to download counterstrike onto it, I know I have the system requirments. Do I just need to download counterstrike itself or should I download some of the modifiers available along with it? I was just wondering what all of you guys have.

step 2. Register, and authenticate.
step 3. Play CS:Source.

old counter-strike is kind of pointless now.

If you do want the old CS then google steam then go to the website and download steam. You need a counterstrike cd key for it.

regardless you need to have steam, go to the steampowerd.com, and download steam, and then you can buy and download the games off line, it works so much better and eazier these days. if you need any steam and counterstrike help you can pm meh, cause i'm so 1337 }{4><0|2.

Thanks poppingseed, I'll do that. I like Enjoi's idea, sounds simpler. And I get Half Life.

Yeah, it is pretty easy to do by dling it, unless you're (insert word here). BTW Half-life 2 is the most kickass game.....ever
