okay, so there is some crazy stuff on tlf... i know most of the stuff about buying/selling/trading, but what does bump mean? it may not have been necessary to start a new thread, but if you know any other shorthand things, post here

To bump a thread is to post in it for the purpose of bringing it up to the top of the list. Bumping you own thread is not allowed (I think).

Bumping is when you say something pointless in a thread so it can be at the top of the page. Like if you have a FS thread and no one posts in it and it goes to the second page, some people might just post "BUMP" so it will go back to the first page and get more attention.

bumping is allowed only in the fs/wtb forum and your only allowed to do it once every 48 hours.
